End of waiting in March! The iQOO Z9 may launch with a 6,000mAh battery and OLED display

The popular performance-focused smartphone brand under Vivo, iCo is said to be working on their iQOO Z9 series of phones. Even before the launch, multiple information is often coming out from different sources about the upcoming phones. Now the possible launch timeline of iQOO Z9 has come forward. Let’s know when the iQOO Z9 series can hit the market.

The iQOO Z9 series may hit the market next month

A Chinese tipster has claimed that the launch event of the iCoa Z9 could be held in the month of March. He also mentioned that the series phone will have a 6,000 mAh battery, which is in line with previous reports by another popular tipster, Digital Chat Station.

Also, DCS reported that at least one model of the Z-series could be launched with a significant display upgrade. The device is rumored to use an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution instead of the FullHD+ IPS LCD screen of the predecessor Z8 series. However, the iQOO Z9’s display size and refresh rate are still unknown.

Although initial reports suggested that the iQOO Z9 will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, Digital Chat Station has hinted at the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip in the phone. This chipset is already used in phones like Honor 100 and Vivo S18. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is an octa-core processor built on Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s (TSMC) 4 nanometer architecture.

The chip is composed of a primary core running at 2.63 GHz, three performance cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. There are also speculations that the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 could be included in the higher-end iQOO Z9 Pro. However, these data are still speculative. The company has not released any information about the specifications yet.
