Dynamic Island farewell, IPhone 18 series will be below the display on camera and face ID

The iPhone 18 series will be launched by September 2021. That is, the phones in this series are still too late. But in the meantime, the devices have begun to practice. A new report suggests that Apple can make major changes in the display design of the iPhone 18 series smartphone. This is what the Tipster Digital Chat Station claimed on the Chinese social media platform Webo.

IPHONE 18 Series Display Design is bringing in apple

In his post, the Tipster writes that the face ID system and selfie camera will be completely in the IPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max model. That is, the display will be 'clean', no cutout or dynamic island can be seen.

And the iPhone 5 Pro and Pro Max's display size can be 5.25 inches and 5.5 inches, respectively. They will have LTPO refresh rate technology with the OLED panel and resolution of 1.5K. And the most eye-catching change would probably be the use of Hiaa (Hole-in-Active-AREA) technology. This technology is removed some parts of the display's pixel layer, so that the censors below can work through the screen.

The matter is easy to hear, but in reality it is complicated. Tipster didn't just talk about hiding the camera. He also spoke of Face ID, which works using the infrared signal. So it is not easy to work from inside the display.

Tipster said Apple has already created an experimental prototype with this new design. However, nothing has been confirmed by the company yet. Although this is not the first, the iPhone 15 series was heard before launch that Apple was slowly trying to lift the dynamic island. Some reports claim that it will be small in the IPhone 17 Pro Max model.
