In November last year, the Oppo A58 5G phone was launched in China. The brand is now planning to launch a 4G variant in the global market called Oppo A58 4G. The device has already received approvals from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), TUV Rheinland, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Thailand’s NBTC. And now, the Oppo A58 4G has appeared in Malaysia’s SIRIM certification database. Which indicates the soon launch of the phone in the said countries.
Oppo A58 4G spotted on SIRIM’s database
Oppo A58 4G with model number CPH2577 has been certified by the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM). Although the listing did not reveal any specifications, it does confirm that the smartphone will make its debut in Malaysia soon.
Note that it was earlier revealed that the Oppo A58 4G will have a 5,000mAh battery and will support 33W fast charging. The device will be 7.99 millimeters thick and weigh 191 grams. Besides, Oppo’s upcoming phone is said to run on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 software version.
Oppo A58 5G: Specifications
The 5G version of the Oppo A58, which was launched in November last year, features a 6.56-inch LCD display, which offers a resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels (HD+) and a 90Hz refresh rate. Its screen features a dew drop notch design and supports a maximum brightness of 600 nits. MediaTek Dimension 700 processor is used in the device. Oppo A58 5G runs Android 12 based ColorOS 12.1 custom skin.
The Oppo A58 5G features a dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. And for selfies and video calls, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera on the front of the phone. Also, Oppo A58 5G offers dual SIM support, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS and USB Type-C. It includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, dual stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. For power backup, the Oppo A58 5G comes with a powerful 5,000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast wired charging.
