Xiaomi is currently on a spree of new device launches including the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China and the global market. At the same time, the company is also working on some new devices. One of which is Xiaomi Civi 4 and information about it has already started leaking on the internet. And now a well-known tipster has revealed some important information about this upcoming Civi series of phones.
The specifications of Xiaomi Civi 4 have come out
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared some important information about an upcoming smartphone on Weibo (Chinese micro-blogging site). Although he didn’t clearly name the device in his post, it is believed to be the Xiaomi CV4. DCS says that the phone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series processor. If the information turns out to be true, it will be a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the MediaTek Dimension 8200 in the CV3.
However, the tipster’s statement does not match previous reports, which claimed that the Xiaomi CV4 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimension 8300-Ultra processor. The digital chat station also reported that the device could feature a slightly curved 2.7D display with 1.5K resolution and a sleek metal frame.
Rumor has it, there might be a co-branded version of the phone. Since the Xiaomi Civi 3 also had a Disney co-branded model, it wouldn’t be surprising if the company follows a similar strategy with the Civi 4. Xiaomi may launch Xiaomi Civi 4 by May. The company launched the Civi 3 in May last year, so expect the same launch timeline for its successor.
