The Tecno Camon 30 5G series was initially launched in the market last February. The lineup currently consists of three smartphones, the standard Tecno Camon 30 5G, the Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G and the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G. The brand recently announced to launch these smartphones in the Indian market as well. And now ahead of the launch, a microsite for the upcoming series has gone live on the Amazon e-commerce platform, indicating that the Tecno Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G will soon be available in India. Tecno Camon 30 5G and Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G: Specifications
The first microsite published on Amazon India's platform indicated that both the camera-centric Tecno Camon 30 5G and Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G smartphones will have similar specifications to their global versions. That is, the Tecno Camon 30 5G will offer a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. And a 50 megapixel selfie camera can be seen in front of the phone.
On the other hand, the rear panel of the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G phone will feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 camera sensor with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
It is also expected that both these devices will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. However, the screen on the Premier model will support a 144Hz refresh rate and the standard Camon 30 5G will come with a 120Hz refresh rate. As for performance, the Tecno Camon 30 5G phone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor, while the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G model may feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. Hopefully, Tecno will confirm more features of these handsets before the launch.
