Camera-charging surprise, Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ to make noise in global market

Oppo’s much-anticipated Reno 10 series was unveiled in China last week. Ever since its launch in the home market, there have been speculations that the lineup will soon enter the global market as well. Even now, smartphones are getting approved by various certification sites. After being approved by the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) authorities, the Reno 10 Pro+ has now appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform. Speculations are rife that the Oppo Reno 10 series will be officially launched in various countries around the world in June.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ gets NBTC certification

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus with model number CPH2521 has been listed on the site of Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). Although, the listing did not reveal specific details about the phone’s specifications, it hinted that it will be launched very soon Already, the Reno 10 Pro (CPH2531) and standard Reno 10 (CPH2525) have been spotted on other certification platforms, but they have yet to receive clearance in Thailand.

Specifications of Oppo Reno 10 Pro+

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus launched in China features a large 6.74-inch OLED display, which offers FullHD+ resolution and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a high-performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on the latest Android 13 operating system.

For photography, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ packs a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B periscope camera with 5x optical zoom.

And for selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front camera on the front of the phone. For power backup, the Reno 10 Pro+ comes with a powerful 4,700mAh battery, which supports 100W fast charging. Recent reports point to the third week of June as the likely timeframe for the debut of the Reno 10 series in India.
