Buyer bought Nothing Phone (2a) for Rs 22,000 and got Rs 4500 smartphone, Flipkart refused to exchange it

In today’s era every person is used to online shopping. However, online shopping is not always secure. Because, sometimes people get into various problems by buying things online. Recently, a flipkart customer from Delhi named Tayyab faced such a problem. He shared the incident of receiving the wrong product from flipkart through a post on social media platform X.

Taiyab claimed that he had ordered a nothing phone (2a) worth around Rs 22,000 from Flipkart. But instead he got an ikall brand smartphone worth Rs 4,500. Flipkart then rejected his return request twice despite having unboxing videos.

Soon after, Taib questioned Flipkart’s behavior on social media platform X and detailed his efforts, writing, “I have been trying to return and replace the product since yesterday, but have not received any support from Flipkart.”

Since the Korean service delivered the product intact, Flipkart rejected the return request after sending it the first time. The second replacement request was also rejected, as Taib was unable to upload the required image. Then while making the third replacement request, Taib claimed that he was requesting for the third replacement and filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline.

In his post, he expressed dismay at Flipkart’s return policy, saying such a restrictive return policy would push customers to the offline market. Also, he claims that Flipkart is yet to respond to his complaint.
