The foldable phone market is facing several challenges before it becomes big. That’s why one by one smartphone brands are thinking of leaving this market. A popular tipster digital chat station recently claimed that three major brands are considering temporarily canceling their foldable phone project.
The smartphone brand is canceling the foldable phone project
He said in a Weibo post that one of these three companies also has a brand that ranks among the top five smartphone companies. The brand has completely canceled their foldable phone project. And two other brands have postponed their flip-style foldable phone projects.
However, the reason behind this is not yet known. Officials associated with the organization did not say why, the tipster said.
Note that Samsung is ruling the foldable phone market, so it makes no sense for them to cancel this project. However, according to reports, Oppo, Vivo and Huawei are not interested in launching any more foldable phones anytime soon. These three brands are probably what the tipster is talking about.
