Very soon – Android 15 Beta 2 update will be released in phases for phones of Android brands such as Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Tecno, Vivo, Xiaomi etc.
The latest Android 15 operating system was announced during the recently held Google I/O tech conference. However, the tech giant did not reveal any features included in this new Android version. But in the event, Google confirmed that the second beta update of Android 15 version is in the process of rolling out.
Note that Pixel devices have already received this update. And very soon – Android 15 Beta 2 update will be released periodically for phones of Android brands like Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Tecno, Vivo, Xiaomi etc.
Reportedly, the stable version of this latest operating system will be rolled out to the public in September. But those who are not willing to wait four months, can download its second beta version. But let's say before, Android 15 Beta 2 is unstable version, so there is a high possibility of bugs in it. So before downloading the update we suggest to backup the data on the device.
Features of Android 15 Beta 2
- With the new Android 15 OS version comes the 'Private Space Apps' feature, which will allow the user to hide selected applications. As a result, the selected apps will not be visible in the recent apps list, notifications or settings while the profile is locked.
- Another notable addition of the new update is 'App Pairs'. This feature allows users to save and launch two apps simultaneously in split-screen mode. As a result, this feature will be especially useful for those who like to multitask.
- The 'Predictive Back' feature has been improved under Android 15 update. After all this option will now be enabled by default. Note that earlier developers had to manually activate it. This feature will provide smoother animations and better navigation for back-to-home, cross-task and cross-activity transitions in compatible apps.
- With the latest Android 15 OS version, Google has made the 'Refine Media Permission Management' option available. When this feature is enabled, it allows apps installed on the device to highlight only recently selected photos and videos.
- The new update now provides a remote view of the application in the widget picker. This new system now makes the widget section more personalized and relevant.
- Two new data types have been included under the 'Health Connect' feature, namely – 'Skin Temperature' and 'Training Plans'. Also, apps have added the ability to set high-vibration for incoming notifications via channel. So that users can understand important notifications when they arrive
- The entering animation of 'Picture-in-Picture' (PiP) mode has been smoothed in Android 15 operating system.
