After the turn of 5G to 4G, the price of Vivo’s new smartphone is public before the launch in the country.

Vivo may be preparing to launch a new mid-range smartphone in India. According to a new leak, this phone is the Y36 4G, which will be priced below Rs 20,000 in the country. Various sources have also revealed the specifications, features and launch timeline of this upcoming Vivo phone. However, Vivo has not yet officially released any information about this device. But now a well-known tipster has claimed that Vivo Y36 4G will be launched in the Indian market in mid-June. The tipster, however, did not reveal the exact launch date. However, the price range of the handset has been shared ahead of its launch in the country. Let’s take a look at the information that has surfaced so far about the Y36 4G.

Vivo Y36 4G Possible Price in India

Vivo Y36 is said to be launched in India as a new 4G smartphone under Rs 20,000. Tipster Pars Googlani claimed in a tweet that the smartphone will be priced between Rs 18,000 and Rs 20,000. Incidentally, Vivo Y36 has already been launched in Indonesia. The Indian version of this handset will likely offer the same hardware found in the model available in Indonesia. However, Paras Googlani has not revealed the RAM and storage options of the India variant of the Y36 4G. The Indonesian version has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and is priced at 33,99,000 rupiah (roughly Rs. 18,700).

Besides, the Indian version of the Vivo Y36 4G is said to be launched in two color options – Gold and Black. It will feature a polycarbonate back panel and frame. The phone features a dual rear camera setup, punch-hole display and flat frame design. The tipster has also listed the key specifications and features of the Indian model of the Vivo Y36 4G, which is similar to the Indonesian variant.

Vivo Y36 4G (India Version) Probable Specifications

The Vivo Y36 4G will feature a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with Full-HD+ resolution. The screen will feature a punch-hole cutout at the top center and is also claimed to offer a 90 Hz refresh rate and 950 nits peak brightness. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, which may be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Vivo Y36 4G will run Android 13 based Funtouch OS 13 custom skin.

For photography and videography, the rear shell of the Vivo Y36 4G will house a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. And for selfies, the phone will feature a 16-megapixel front camera. In terms of power backup, the Vivo Y36 4G will come with a powerful 5,000mAh battery, which will support 44W fast charging. Also, this phone will get Bluetooth 5.1, microSD card support up to 1TB, virtual RAM support up to 8GB and GPS. For water and dust resistance, the Y36 4G will have an IP54 rated chassis.
