Apple will launch the iPhone 16 series in the second half of this year. While there is still plenty of time on hand, various details about this lineup are starting to emerge. iPhone 16 Pro series case images surfaced a few days ago, raising the curiosity of iPhone fans. And now live images of iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus protective cases have surfaced. Although the Pro models are rumored to have a dedicated button for photo capture, no cutout for this button was seen in leaked case images of the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus.
The leak is a live image of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus cases
According to the protective case images shared by MacRumors, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will have a pill-shaped dual-camera system. The cameras look bigger than the previous iPhone series. However, it is not possible to say for sure about this right now, as no confirmed information regarding the specifications of the camera has surfaced yet.
It is expected that the spatial video recording functionality currently present in the Vision Pro and iPhone 15 Pro models will be extended to this year’s regular iPhone 16 series models. Spatial video recording is currently not available on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models, limited to the Pro lineup only. This move by Apple actually indicates that they are focused on improving the video capabilities of their phones this year.
But keep in mind that since these case images are not released from official sources, they definitely do not represent the final design of the iPhone 16 series. Apple may also come up with a different design. As usual, the iPhone 16 series is expected to be released by September this year.
