30-minute charge will last the whole day, after 5G, this smartphone of Oppo is coming in a cheap 4G version

Oppo is planning to launch a 4G version of its Oppo A78 5G phone which was launched in January. The Oppo A78 4G is expected to make its debut soon, as some of its marketing materials have already been leaked online, giving detailed information about the device. Apart from this, some reports indicate that the Oppo A78 4G is likely to be launched on July 7. And now, this Oppo smartphone has appeared in the Geekbench benchmarking database, which has revealed its performance information.

Oppo A78 4G spotted on Geekbench database

The Oppo A78 4G phone with model number CPH2565 has been listed on Geekbench benchmarking site. Its listing reveals that the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor codenamed ‘Bengal’, with a maximum frequency of 2.40 GHz. These details indicate that the A78 4G will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor.

Also, the Geekbench database revealed that the Oppo A78 4G will feature 8GB of memory and the smartphone will run pre-installed Android 13 operating system, with Oppo’s custom ColorOS skin on top. In terms of benchmark results, the Oppo A78 4G scored 411 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core test and 1,263 points in the multi-core test.

Oppo A78 4G Specifications (Probable)

The upcoming Oppo A78 4G will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution, offering a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. However, the storage of the phone can be expanded up to 1TB through microSD card Also, the A78 4G will support 8GB of virtual RAM, which will enhance the multitasking capabilities of the device.

For photography, the Oppo A78 4G will have a dual-camera setup on the rear panel, housing a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. And for selfies and video calls, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera sensor will be seen in front of the phone.

In terms of battery backup, the Oppo A78 4G will be powered by a powerful 5,000mAh battery, which will support 67W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. Which will charge the battery up to 76% in just 30 minutes. Apart from security, the device is expected to have an in-display fingerprint scanner and dual speakers for enhanced audio experience.
