Realme has launched Realme 12X as the new smartphone in their number series. While it will be available in the company’s home market first, Realme is reportedly planning a launch in other countries soon. The Realme 12X features an LCD screen, MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, up to 24GB of RAM (including virtual RAM), a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Specifications of Realme 12X
The Realme 12X has a 6.67-inch LCD screen, which offers a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is designed in such a way that it does not strain the eyes and the screen offers 625 nits peak brightness. For performance, the Realme 12X is powered by the MediaTek Dimension 6100 Plus processor and supports 12GB physical + 12GB virtual RAM for multitasking. It runs on Android 14 based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin.
For photos and videos, the Realme 12X’s rear camera setup houses a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. For water and dust resistance, the Realme 12X phone comes with an IP54-certified chassis. For security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is quick and easy to unlock. And for power backup, the Realme 12X comes with a powerful 5,000mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging. Finally, the Realme 12X is 7.89 mm slim and weighs just 190 grams.
Realme 12X Price and Availability
Realme 12X in China is available in two storage versions – 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. It will be available in two color options – Bluebird and Black Jade. The 256GB variant of the phone will be initially priced at 1,399 Yuan (roughly Rs. 16,330), but the original price is 1,499 Yuan (roughly Rs. 17,500). And the 512GB option can be bought from 1,799 Yuan (roughly Rs. 21,000) to 1,599 Yuan (roughly Rs. 18,665). Realme 12X will officially go on sale in China from April 1st. However, the company has not confirmed anything about when the phone will come to the Indian market.
