16MP selfie camera and 44W fast charging on Vivo’s new smartphone, spotted on Geekbench ahead of launch

After the launch of the Vivo Y35m and Y78 under the Y-series last month, Vivo is now rumored to be working on another new smartphone called the Vivo Y27. Which has already appeared on the Google Play console in addition to the NCC and EEC certification sites. From where various specifications of the phone have come forward. And now with an idea of ​​its performance Vivo Y27 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site. Let’s find out what information has been revealed from this benchmark listing.

Vivo Y27 appeared on Geekbench site ahead of launch

Vivo Y27 smartphone with model number V2248 has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking site. According to the listing, the device has an octa-core processor with a base clock speed of 2 GHz and a boost clock speed of 2.2 GHz. Which points to MediaTek’s Dimension 6020 processor. The listing also mentions that this Vivo phone will offer 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 13 operating system.

In terms of benchmark results, the Vivo Y27 scored 595 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core test and 1,770 points in the multi-core test. Besides, nothing more is known about the specifications of the phone from Geekbench. However, multiple information about Y27 has already been leaked through various sources.

Based on the leaked specifications, the Vivo Y27 5G phone could be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y36 5G that was launched in May. In that case, the Y27 5G will come with a 6.64-inch LCD display with FullHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. For photography, the handset will feature a dual-camera system comprising of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera on the rear panel.

On the other hand, for selfies, the phone will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Finally for power backup, the Y27 5G is expected to use a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
