A tipster claimed that the 5G and 4G variants of the Infinix Zero 40 phone were recently spotted on certification and benchmarking sites. Both the Infinix Zero 40 5G and Infinix Zero 40 4G handsets have been spotted on tipster PassionNetGeek's Eurasian Economic Union (EEC) website. The 5G and 4G variants carry model numbers X6861 and X6860 respectively. The report adds that both the handsets are expected to come with up to 512GB of in-built storage.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G model is said to have up to 12GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Infinix Zero 40 4G phone was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site, which confirmed that the phone will have 8GB of RAM and will run on the Android 14 operating system.

According to recent reports, the 5G variant of the Infinix Zero 40 phone is expected to support wired fast charging up to 100W. More details about the Zero 40 series of smartphones may surface in the coming days. PassionnetGeeks also shared an image, which reveals the design of the upcoming Infinix Zero 40 5G model. Instead of the rectangular rear camera island like the previous Infinix Zero 30 5G phone, the Infinix Zero 40 5G features a circular rear camera module. The 5G and 4G variants of the Infinix Zero 40 are expected to come with several upgrades compared to the current generation Infinix Zero 30 5G and Zero 30 4G models.

The Infinix Zero 30 5G handset comes with MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor, 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It has been launched with an IP53 rated build and a 6.78-inch 144Hz full-HD+ curved AMOLED screen. For photography, it has a 108-megapixel megapixel triple rear camera unit and a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

On the other hand, the Infinix Zero 30 4G phone comes with a 6.78-inch 120Hz Full-HD+ AMOLED (AMOLED) screen and MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. The phone offers the same camera and battery specifications as the 5G variant, but with 45W wired fast charging support.
