BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is taking one surprising step after another in Halfil to regain its lost popularity in the market and trust (read lost ground) of common people. The state-owned telecom company recently surprised customers by extending the validity of two of its prepaid plans. Not only that, they are trying to attract attention with another great offer. In fact, BSNL has decided to give free 4GB data to certain customers till 31st March 2024 i.e. the end of this month. This is not a new offer – in fact the company is giving customers 4GB free data for upgrading their existing 2G/3G SIM card to 4G SIM. In this case, customers do not have to spend any extra money.

In a social media post via Twitter (now X), BSNL Karnataka circle has updated about the last date of the free data and 4G SIM upgrade offer. So if you are a user of this company and want to upgrade your old network SIM to BSNL 4G SIM, then take advantage of instant bonus data.
BSNL will launch 4G very soon
Even though the 5G network is available in the market, so far BSNL’s launch of 4G services has only been heard, with little to no results. But now an online report says that the company has deployed around 3,500 4G sites in major northern states of India including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. And not only the northern states, some states of South India including Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh also got access to BSNL’s new services.
The validity of these two plans has increased
As mentioned in the beginning, BSNL has recently increased the validity of its two recharge plans – priced at Rs 699 and Rs 999. In this case, earlier the Rs 699 plan came with a validity of 130 days, but now it will have a validity of 150 days, which means that the plan will now last for 20 days more than before. On the other hand, the Rs 999 plan will get 215 days validity instead of 200 days i.e. it will get an additional 15 days validity.
