Hero MotoCorp's two upcoming scooters have been buzzing for a long time. The two models are Xoom 160 and Xoom 125R. Eye-catching design and powerful engine are going to be one of the attractions of these scooters. The Xoom 125R is expected to arrive soon after the launch of the new Destiny 125.
The testing version of the Xoom 125R has been spotted near Hero's manufacturing facility in Rajasthan. It will come with a large and muscular body, resulting in excellent road presence. The design language is similar to the current Xoom model. Its rear section is seen in the spy shot. The Hero Xoom 125R scooter has a split LED light setup with a sharp tail profile.

Also, larger pillion footrest plates with split grab rails have been noticed. For performance, Hero's new scooter will be powered by a 124.6 cc air-cooled engine that produces 9.4 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 10.16 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. But this is the pre-production model number. Final model output may vary slightly.
The Xoom 125R will offer LED lighting, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, digital instrument cluster, single disc brakes, and call-SMS alert features. For suspension, there will be telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. May be launched during Diwali. It will challenge the TVS Ntorq 125.
