Triumph has ended the wait and launched their much awaited supersports bike Daytona 660 in India. Based on the platform of the popular Tiger Sport 660 and Trident 660 Roadster, this sophisticated motorcycle comes. The new version of the legendary Daytona has been priced at Rs 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in Snowdonia White, Satin Granite, and Carnival Red color options.

Although it looks completely different from its predecessor, the new model retains styling elements of the Daytona 775. It has split LED headlight setup with transparent windscreen. Sharp lines along the edge of the fuel tank are noticeable. In short, the new Triumph Daytona 660 looks more like a sports tourer than a hardcore supersports bike.

Like the Trident and Tiger Sports, the Daytona uses a 660 cc inline three cylinder engine. It produces 95 bhp of power at 11,250 rpm and 69 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Being an expensive bike, it will feature premium hardware setup. 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD front fork and Showa monoshock with preload adjustment. For braking, there are 310 mm twin disc brakes at the front and 230 mm single disc brakes at the rear.

The Triumph Daytona 660 is loaded with advanced features. The bike offers full-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by navigation, three riding modes (Rain, Road and Sport), six-speed gear box and multi-plate slipper clutch.
