Forget petrol cars, the new Maruti Swift CNG has been launched with a mileage of 33 km

Maruti Suzuki today launched the CNG version of the Swift facelift in India. The arrival of the CNG version of the fourth generation Swift comes four months after its launch. The new incarnation of the Maruti Swift CNG will offer more torque and fuel efficiency. The car comes in three variants. The base VXi CNG model is priced starting at Rs 8,19,500 (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki claims that the new Swift CNG is six percent more fuel efficient than the previous model. It has a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine that produces 69.75 PS of power and 101.8 Nm of torque in CNG mode. It will give a mileage of 32.85 km per kg. The car can only be optioned with a five-speed manual gearbox option.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG offers safety features like six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill Hold Assist. Also, Swift S-CNG is equipped with various modern features including seven-inch Smart Play Pro infotainment system, Suzuki Connect, automatic climate control, rear AC vent, wireless charger.

Let us inform you that the price of the new Maruti Swift petrol starts from Rs 6.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi and ZXi+ trims. The Indo-Japanese company claims that the mileage of the petrol model is 24.80 km to 25.75 km/litre.
