With the advent of modern technology, the demand for ‘sunroof’ in passenger cars in India is seen to increase. Buyers are desperate to get this feature even in less expensive models. As a result, the car companies have become highly competitive among themselves. However, this time Tata Motors (Tata Motors) set a precedent by launching XM and XM(S) variants in the Altroz lineup with sunroof. They are priced at Rs 6.90 lakh and Rs 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Tata claims that the addition of the XM(S) variant makes the Altroz currently the cheapest premium sunroof in the country.

Altroz XM and XM(S) variants have been launched
The XM and XM(S) variant pairs sit between the Altroz XE and XM+ models. Tata believes that this will further boost the sales of the premium hatchback car. This variant can be optioned with either the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine with manual gear only.
The Altroz XM variant offers high-end features. Like – steering mounted controls, driver seat height adjuster, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVM, R16 full wheel covers and a premium look dashboard. The XM(S) variant has an electric sunroof. Again, Tata Motors buyers can buy the car with large-scale infotainment as per their choice from the accessories catalog.
Additionally the Altroz will now be offered with four power windows and remote keyless entry, as standard features on the manual petrol variant. The XE variant offers rear power windows and remote keyless entry with follow me home lamps. XM and XM+S get reverse camera, driver seat height adjuster, cruise control, top-end dashboard look. Again, the XT trim will get driver seat height adjuster, R16 Hyper Style wheels and rear defogger.
