Hero Xoom 160 is going to be one of the attractions of Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 which is going to be held in Delhi from tomorrow. This is Hero's first maxi scooter and a two-wheeler of this type that the company has not launched before. Hero had earlier showcased the initial version of the model. This time the production ready or final version of Xoom 160 is about to debut. Let's find out what this scooter has.

True maxi-scooter design
The design of Hero Zoom 160 is eye-catching. This is maxi-scooter styling in true sense. Again the design is inspired by adventure bikes. Styling elements like the long windscreen, twin LED headlights and small lip are visible on the front apron. The central spine and tail section evoke a maxi-scooter feel.
New engine
Hero has not given details about the engine of the Zoom 160 scooter. It will be a 156 cc, single cylinder unit, producing 14 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox.
How are the features?
Hero offers all the features that a premium scooter has in this model. Like keyless ignition, remote boot opening, LED lights, LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Additional features will be detailed on launch day.
Hardware and price
The Hero Xoom 160 is built on an underbone frame. It has telescopic forks and twin shock absorbers. The scooter runs on 14 inch wheels with block pattern tires. There are front disc brakes and rear drum brakes with ABS. The model is expected to be priced between Rs 1.3 lakh and Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
