The demand for electric vehicles is increasing in the country within 1 lakh. In such a scenario, EV two-wheeler startup BattRE has announced the launch of a new budget electric scooter. The company's new model is called Storie Epic. The company claims that it combines style and performance. The price has been kept at Tk 84,999 (ex-showroom). The company is offering the scooter in twelve attractive colors to choose from.
BattRE has used metal body panels to increase the durability of their Storie Epic electric scooter. The manufacturer claims that the model will give a range of 103 km on a full charge, which is enough to run for a day. The top speed of the e-scooter is 65 km per hour. The 60 volt 40 amp hour battery pack offers IP67 dust and water resistance.
The company is providing the facility to open the battery from inside the electric scooter. As a result, there is no need to worry if there is no charging socket in the parking space. Charging anywhere will be easier. The battery will take five hours to fully charge. The battery has lithium ion chemistry and has a capacity of 3.2 kWh.
Buyers will get a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty on the battery. The electric scooter will be available in Midnight Black, Candy Red, Ice Blue, Pearl White, Ecru Yellow, Stormy Grey, Starlight Blue, Blazing Bronze, Hunter Green, Cosmic Blue, Gunmetal Black, and Gold Rush color schemes. Various information including distance to empty, battery temperature will appear on the digital display.
