Electric Bike: 125 km mileage on a single charge, book this Pulsar-like e-bike for just Rs 999

After booking, getting the news about the delivery of the car is naturally a feeling of joy. This time, Mumbai’s electric two-wheeler startup Odyssey Electric Vehicles (Odysse Electric Vehicles) heard the happy news of the buyers. The company will start delivery of their electric bike Vader from the latter half of August this year. It was launched in March. The bike has competitors in the country – Tork Kratos R, Hop Oxo, Revolt RV400 etc. Odysse Vader new price starts from Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom).

Delivery of Odysse Vader begins in August

999 rupees is required to book Odyssey Vader. It is India’s first electric bike with inbuilt Google Map navigation. The 7-inch Android display can be operated through a mobile app. A 3.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is provided as the power source. It is capable of providing a range of 125 km on a full charge.

The Odysse Vader’s battery will take four hours to fully charge. 6 bhp and 170 Nm of torque will be available from its 3 kW electric motor. The maximum speed is 85 km per hour. The battery is AIS 156 approved. It offers a three-year warranty.

Currently, Odyssey EV’s factory has a capacity to produce 2,500 units of two-wheelers per month in a single shift. Which will be increased to 5,000 units in future. Odyssey is also in the process of building a new production facility. If implemented, the production capacity will be increased to 10,000 units per month.

Odyssey is looking to build the new factory in Gujarat or Maharashtra. In this context, the company’s CEO Nemin Vora said that their Vader bike will be manufactured in Ahmedabad and Mumbai factories. Its deliveries will start from the latter half of August. “We are going to introduce new high-speed electric scooters instead of old models,” he added.
