Citroen India like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors are going to offer 3 years standard warranty on their engine driven (ICE) vehicles. As announced by the company, the standard warranty on their cars sold in India will cover 3 years or 1,00,000 km (whichever comes first). This will replace the previous warranty of 2 years or 40,000 km.
Citroen India extends car warranty
Complaints by customers about low warranty of Citroen cars, new measures are going to address it. However, this change does not apply to branded electric vehicles in India. Because the warranty on the all-electric model eC3 remains completely unchanged. It is worth noting that apart from the standard coverage, Citroen has been offering various extended warranty packages to customers.
Comprehensive coverage for Citroen ICE vehicles includes protection against manufacturing and material defects. This warranty also has transferability. As a result, genuine parts and service are guaranteed. Consumers do not have to pay out of pocket for car repairs.
