Tata Nexon Price Changes It is currently the best selling compact SUV in the country. The facelifted version of the car debuted in September last year. Since then, the popularity seems to be increasing day by day. Initially, the price of the new Tata Nexon starts at Rs 8.09 lakh (ex-showroom). But from now on you have to spend up to 20,000 additional rupees to buy the car.
Tata Nexon Facelift price hiked
The Tata Nexon is available in six colours. 11 variants. Among these, the price of the very entry level model i.e. five speed manual Smart Petrol has increased by Tk 5,000 as compared to earlier. On the other hand, customers will have to pay an additional Rs 10,000 to buy the rest of the variants. And in the case of the dual tone variant, the price has increased by a maximum of Tk 20,000.
Tata Nexon Facelift: Engine Specifications
The Tata Nexon has a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine alongside a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former produces a maximum power of 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. And the power and torque output from the diesel engine is 113 bhp and 260 Nm respectively.
There are multiple transmission options to match the engine. Five and six-speed manual options will be available. There are also six-speed AMT and seven-speed DCT gearboxes. In this context, it is good to know that the Nexon CNG was recently unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo event. It is the first CNG car in the country to get a turbo engine.
