
India's top two wheels makers are about to launch two new electric scooters, Hero Motocorp. The models are reported to be public on July 1st. However, they have not officially commented on the issue. Electric scooters are reported to be sold under the Vida brand of two heroes.
Hero's new electric scooter is coming to July
The report claims that the upcoming electric scooters are using an affordable evs called ACPD. It is expected to come to the entry-level segment, which means that it will be available at affordable prices. Although the company does not say much, it will be known to be set up somewhat differently compared to the current V2 series and latest Z series.
Customers can expect sophisticated technology, including advanced riding quality, high range and advanced features. Hero is currently selling only three electric models in India – Vida V2 Lite, Vida V2 Plus and Vida V2 Pro. The price of these models starts at Rs. 5, where the top variant can cost up to Tk 1.5 lakh (all X-showrooms).
Hero is trying to reach more customers. The aim to expand the dealership network across the country. The company is keeping the target of creating 20 touchpoints with 5 dealerships in more than 5 cities. Hero has made significant improvement in the market of electric vehicles in the financial year 2021. In the last fiscal year, 5 units of electric scooters were sold in the last financial year with more than 5 percent increase.
