Now you will have double the fun of chatting on WhatsApp. In fact, the instant messaging app is gearing up to add a new customizable chat theme feature, which will soon come to both Android and iOS versions of WhatsApp. According to WhatsApp's new feature tracking website WABetainfo, the new feature aims to provide more control over the visual interface and enhance the messaging experience by allowing users to choose preferred colors for chats.
WhatsApp users can choose the preferred chat
This feature has already been seen in WhatsApp's iOS 24.11.10.70 beta and Android 2.24.17.19 beta. As seen in the screenshot shared by WABetainfo, WhatsApp is testing a new section where users can choose their favorite chat theme. The feature is still in development stage, so chat theme preview is not available yet. However, reports suggest that there could be at least 10 chat themes in the beginning.
This is how the new chat theme will work
Let us know that WhatsApp now allows you to use wallpapers in private chats. But other meta apps like Instagram and Messenger have the option to change the text bubble. This feature will still be available on WhatsApp as well. In addition, in the future, users will be able to choose new colors for specific chat bubbles and wallpapers, according to the report.
With this feature, WhatsApp actually aims to improve the messaging experience by giving its users more control over the chat interface, so that they can choose the desired color for the chat bubble.
However, the feature is still in beta stage for iOS and Android versions of WhatsApp. Hopefully, after few months it will be in stable version and then everyone will get the taste of using the feature.
