Because the amount of parts used in it is high.
So it is understood that if a diesel engine is used in the motorcycle, the overall weight will increase. Slow down. Keeping weight low is very important to get high speed in two-wheeler. So this is one of the reasons why diesel engines are not used in bikes or scooters.
