Chinese electric car maker BYD has launched its Atto 3 electric SUV in two new variants in India. The new base variant (Dynamic) of the updated model of the car has been priced at Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). That is, after the 2024 update, it has become cheaper by Rs. 9 lakh. The BYD Atto 3 is now available in three trims – Dynamic, Premium (Rs 29.85 lakh), and Superior (Rs 33.99 lakh). Note that earlier it was only available in the superior version.
The entry-level Dynamic variant of the 2024 BYD Atto 3 electric SUV gets a relatively small 49.92kWh battery, which is claimed to provide a range of 468km on a full charge. The other two variants use a 60.48kWh battery, with a range of 521km.
The BYD Atto 3 car will be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 50 minutes with the help of a fast charger. However, if you use a home charger, the base model will charge 80 percent in 8 hours and the other two variants in 10 hours. The battery powers the car's single rear axle motor, which is capable of producing 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque.
The new base model of this electric car has a 12.8-inch touchscreen, 5-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, 360-degree surround camera, power assisted seats, etc. It won't get many premium features, including the level two ads of the superior variant.
