BTS Dynamite Music Video set a World Record crossed 100 million views in less than 24 Hours


BTS Dynamite Music video has set a new world record of getting 100 million views in less than 24 hours on Youtube. It breaks the previous record held by fellow K-poppers Blackpink with their music video, “How You Like that”.



BTS released their latest track on August 21 named “Dynamite”. The song comes to be a top-trending video on YouTube within just 12 hours. Within 24 hours, it becomes the most viewed music video on YouTube. Moreover,  it also broke a record for the most-watched YouTube premiere. The public view counter of the Youtube showed that “Dynamite” has garnered 98.3 million views in less than 24 hours but, the most popular video platform later confirmed that the song’s official view count was actually 101.1 million.



As mentioned, BTS Dynamite also becomes the most-watched YouTube premiere, with over three million live concurrent viewers. Previously, Blackpink song ‘How you like that’ holds the record of the most views within the first 24 hours. The music video was released in June and gathered a total of 86.3 million views within 24 hours. Anyway, BTS now seems to be the undisputed king of YouTube popularity.


Before releasing BTS Dynamite, Big Hit Label posted a 28-second long teaser on its official YouTube channel on August 18 which also gained over 61 million views on YouTube. As of now, Dynamite has garnered over 174 million views on YouTube. BTS is also set to perform the number for the first time on TV at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards which is scheduled to go live on August 30.
