Good news for BSNL broadband customers. The company has quietly upgraded the internet speed of its three entry-level plans. Now this broadband plan offers faster internet speed than before, that too at no extra cost. Earlier, BSNL's entry-level broadband plans offered low speed and limited amount of data. However, the speed will increase on these plans from now on, though the data limit remains the same. The three broadband plans that BSNL has increased are priced at Rs 249, Rs 299 and Rs 329. Let's know about them in detail.
25Mbps speed available in BSNL's Rs 249, Rs 299 and Rs 329 plans
BSNL broadband plans start at Rs 249 per month. Also the company's other entry level plans are priced at Rs 299 and Rs 329. The speed of these three plans has been changed. The Rs 249 plan, which earlier offered 10 Mbps speed, will now offer 25 Mbps speed. Again, Rs 299 BSNL plan which used to offer 10 Mbps speed, now offers 25 Mbps speed. And in the Rs 329 plan, customers used to get 20 Mbps internet speed, which has now been increased to 25 Mbps.

249, 299 and 329 Rs broadband plan benefits of BSNL
Please note that BSNL's Rs 249 plan offers 10 GB FUP (Fair Usage Policy) data, Rs 299 plan offers 20 GB and Rs 329 plan offers 1,000 GB data. And in the Rs 249 and Rs 299 plans, the internet speed is reduced to 2 Mbps after the end of the prescribed data.

Again in the Rs 329 plan, the internet speed comes down to 4 Mbps after the 1000 GB FUP data is exhausted. Note that the Rs 249 and Rs 299 plans are only available for new customers. And even though these are very cheap entry-level plans, you won't be able to run the internet for long at 25 Mbps speed due to insufficient data availability.
In that respect BSNL broadband plan of Rs 329 can be a great option for many. Because 1,000 GB data is available here.
