Brixton Motorcycles, KTM's home company in India to take on the Enfield, will launch four new bikes

Among the two-wheelers sold in India, the demand for adventure tourers and modern retro bikes has been growing at a significant rate lately. Almost every brand is taking initiative to bring such motorcycles in the market. For that purpose, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer Brixton Motorcycles is going to enter India. This company is only 25 years old. For the international market they make classic retro styled bikes with modern hinges. Now their new destination is India.

Brixton Motorcycles is bringing bikes to India

KAW Veloce Motors Pvt. Ltd. India, a part of the KAW Group, has joined hands with Brixton to sell two-wheelers in India. The company is planning to launch four motorcycles in the country. These are – Crossfire 500X, Crossfire 500XC, Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X. The two companies will jointly build a factory in Kolhapur, Maharashtra and manufacture the bikes.

According to Brixton sources, the retro motorbikes will be offered at an affordable price to attract buyers as well as being built to be suitable for all types of roads. Again it will offer the facility of customization. In order to survive in the market, the company aims to keep its models competitively priced.

In terms of business expansion, KAW Veloce Motors and Brixton Motorcycles Austria have outlined themselves in two phases. In the first phase, the factory will be set up in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. More than 40,000 two-wheelers will be manufactured here annually. In the second phase, they will build products suitable for the Indian market. Incidentally, the company will sell motorcycles in 13 cities first. These are – Pune, Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Surat, Bapi and Panjim. Their first model will be launched in India during the Puja season. The main opponent could be Royal Enfield.
