Buyers can pre-book it by visiting the nearest BMW showroom. Note that the CE 04 model debuted in 2021. Futuristic design is the biggest attraction of the scooter. There is no scooty of this style in the country.
This electric scooter has an 8.9 kWh battery pack, which is claimed to be capable of traveling 130 km on a full charge. The standard charger will charge the battery fully in four hours, but the quick charger will fully charge in 1 hour and 40 minutes. It has permanent magnet, liquid cooled, synchronous electric motor. It will produce a maximum power of 41 bhp and 61 Nm of torque.
According to BMW, this electric scooter will be able to accelerate from 0-50 km in 2.6 seconds. The maximum speed will be 120 km per hour. For suspension, there will be single bridge telescopic front forks at the front and single sided swingarm suspension at the rear. The wheel is 15 inches. Both wheels have 265mm disc brakes. ABS will also be available.
Special features of the BMW CE 04 include a 10.25-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation. There is a USB Type-C charger to charge the phone. There will be three riding modes namely Eco, Rain and Road. It may be launched at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). In that case, BMW CE 04 will be the most expensive scooter in the country.
