BMW today launched its first electric scooter in India, the CE 04. This premium e-scooty is priced at Rs 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This is currently the most expensive electric scooter in India. Bookings have already started and deliveries will start in September. The biggest attraction of the BMW CE 04 model is the futuristic design. No scooter that looks like this has come to India yet.
This state-of-the-art electric scooter from BMW has a liquid-cooled, synchronous electric motor. It is capable of producing a maximum power of 41 bhp and 61 Nm of torque. The scooter can accelerate from 0-50 km in just 2.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 120 km per hour. The CE 04 model comes with an 8.9 kWh battery.
The company claims that this e-scooter will give a range of 130 kilometers on a full charge. It will take more than four hours to fully charge the battery. However, BMW will offer a fast charger as an option, through which the battery will be fully charged in 1 hour and 40 minutes. Design is the USP of the car. No praise is enough It looks futuristic from every angle. It is bound to attract everyone's attention when taken out on the street.
For suspension, the BMW CE 04 e-scooter has a single bridge telescopic front fork at the front and a single sided swingarm suspension at the rear. Both wheels have 265mm disc brakes. Features include 10.25-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation, Type-C charging port, three riding modes traction control system, ABS, etc.
