Hero MotoCorp (Hero MotoCorp) and Harley-Davidson (Harley-Davidson) launched their joint venture motorcycle X440 this month. Triumph Speed 400 and Srambler 400X have also been launched. As a result, although there is a risk of a slight decline in demand, the two organizations have heard completely different things about the popularity of the bike. Harley Davidson’s cheapest bike in the market is claimed to be getting massive response. As a result, Hero has announced that the bookings of the Harley-Davidson X440 will be stopped from August 3. It has been informed that the price will be increased with the opening of the booking window later.
Hero MotoCorp happy to see bookings for Harley-Davidson X440
Booking figures for the X440 have not been disclosed by Hero MotoCorp. The company has announced that it will start test rides for customers who have booked the motorcycle from September 1. Those who book before August 3 will be given priority for test riding. Again this year the delivery of the bike will be started from the month of Puja i.e. October. Booking date will also be adhered to in case of delivery.
Commenting on the high demand for the Harley-Davidson X440, Niranjan Gupta, CEO, Hero MotoCorp said, “It is heartening to see the demand for the Harley-Davidson X440. Demand has exceeded our expectations. Due to which we have decided to stop booking temporarily. Bike lovers trust and love Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp.”
The new cylinder bike will be manufactured at Hero’s Nimrana plant in Rajasthan. The two-wheeler company said its production of the X440 has to be increased to meet the demand. The bike was launched in the Indian market on July 3. The introductory price of the denim variant has been set at Rs 2.29 lakh. The Vivid and S variants will cost Rs 2.49 lakh and Rs 2.69 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
The Harley-Davidson X440 can be booked from the company’s official website for an exchange of Rs 5,000. The bike will be delivered through Hero’s new 2.0 premium network of dealerships. Apart from the X440, their upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 210 will also be sold from there. Recently, the company in this country has filed a trademark named Nightster 440. Which indicates that it is going to be the next model of Harley-Davidson in this country.
