Royal Enfield unveiled the new version of their best selling motorcycle Classic 350 on August 12. While all the details of the new model were revealed that day, the price was not announced. But to end the wait tomorrow i.e. September 1 the price of the updated Classic will be officially revealed. Test ride and booking are starting on the same day.
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350: Features
To keep pace with the times, the new Royal Enfield Classic uses LED lighting. Both headlamps and taillamps have LEDs. The company has also upgraded the iconic pilot light to LED. This is Royal Enfield's first 350 cc model to offer LEDs as standard features.
Also, the higher variants of the Classic 350 get adjustable brake and clutch levers. A vintage analog instrument cluster with tripper navigation pod will be found as before. But now it will offer gear position indicator. There will be a USB Type-C charging port. The base model has single channel ABS and front disc-rear drum brake combination. On the other hand, the premium versions have disc brakes on both sides along with dual channel ABS.
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350: Variants & Engines
The updated Classic 350 is available in five major variants – Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, and Emerald. Engine performance is unchanged. As a result, it will run on the same 349 cc, single cylinder, engine as before. It produces 20.2 bhp of power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. There is a five-speed gearbox.
Note that the price of the Classic 350 motorcycle has gone from Rs 1.93 lakh to Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the new version is expected to increase by Rs 5,000 to 10,000.
