Now subscription is required to enjoy Vi Movies & TV service, announced Vodafone Idea
Vodafone Idea is yet to launch 5G in the country. That's why they are trying to keep the customers connected by tempting them in various ways. But recently the telco has discontinued the free Vi Movies & TV feature with all their prepaid plans and is offering subscriptions separately. While Vodafone Idea feels that this may lead to an increase in their subscribers, as well as an increase in their Average Revenue Per Subscriber (ARPU).
In fact, the benefits of free Vi Movies & TV are not available with any prepaid plans on the telco's website and app from today. Instead, subscriptions are offered separately. Because they want to grow their business through subscription. Because, Vi Movies & TV is an OTT aggregator, i.e. this platform does not create its own OTT content but it allows viewing of many OTT platforms in one login.
Vi Movies & TV Pro subscription plan price
Vodafone Idea is offering Vi Movies & TV Pro monthly subscription for its customers at Rs 202. That is, it will cost the customer around Rs 2,400 per year.
And since VI Movies & TV Pro bundles 14 OTT platforms like Disney Plus Hotstar, Sony Liv, Manorama Max, Fancode, NammaFlix, Choupal, Click, PlayFlix, Warner Bros. Discovery, Distro TV, Cimaromy, Hungama, NexGTV and Yap TV is done So although it seems costly at first glance, it is quite affordable. However, if you don't want to view content from that platform, it's best to get an individual subscription to the platform of your choice.
