Recently, Geo, Airtel and Vodafone Ideas have only introduced multiple recharge plans, including voice and sms facilities. But if you think, you will recharge the voice online plans and buy a separate data voucher, then Reliance Jio has given you an important update. Since these plans do not have data, many have begun to think of vouchers or ad-on recharge separately.
Geo has confirmed through their social media handle that data vouchers cannot be used with voice and SMS-on-plans.
Responding to a user's question on social media, JioCare said, “Data-Only Pack (1/3/21/2/2/2/21/2/2/5) is offered, which provides limited term data. If you want to use data, you can recharge any of these packs. However, please note that if only a voice and SMS plan in your account is active, the data booster or data add-on pack (1/3 bucks) cannot be recharged. “
Currently, Geo has come up with two voices and SMS plans – 3 rupees and 5 rupees. The first one has 3 days and the second is 3 days, with Unlimited Voice Calling. There is also a limited amount of SMS facilities. However, one of the disadvantages of recharging these prepaid plans is that if the user needs data any day, they will not be able to recharge data packs.
Vodafone Idea, on the other hand, confirmed in a response that users can recharge the data voucher with their voice and SMS plans. Both plans will work together.
Speaking of Airtel, they too can walk on Vodafone Idea. That is, users can recharge the data voucher to voice-on-plans.
