Users of the domestic UPI payment app ‘Bharat Interface for Money’ aka BHIM can now avail cashback up to Rs 750. In this case, the profit of this offer can be increased only if you pay in certain categories. For example, you will get a specified amount of cashback on any type of merchant transaction, including travel and food categories. Above all, it is also said that a flat 1% cashback will be provided when paying for fuel (petrol, diesel or CNG) using the BHIM app. This offer is valid for a limited time only till 31st March.
BHIM app will offer Rs 150 cashback on food and travel payments
BHIM app users will get a flat Rs 30 cashback if they spend Rs 100 or more while buying food or vehicle tickets. In this case, you can avail this offer if you book – railway ticket booking, sub-urban transport, taxi, cab and bus tickets. Similarly, the offer is applicable at restaurants where payment can be made using merchant UPI QR code.
Please note, you can get a maximum cashback of Rs 150 under this offer. Which means, this offer can be redeemed maximum five times in a month. After which the cashback amount received will be directly credited to the primary bank account linked to the BHIM app. But let’s say one thing in advance, only those users who have BHIM app version 3.7 or higher installed on their mobile can get cashback benefits.
Paying through Rupay credit card from BHIM app will give cashback up to Rs.600
BHIM app is offering Rs 600 cashback on any type of merchant UPI payment using RuPay credit card till 31st March. You must have a credit card linked to your BHIM account to avail this offer.
Under this offer, the first three transactions of Tk 100 or more in the month of February will be given a flat Tk 100 cashback each time. Cashback of Tk 30 will be provided for maximum five times transaction of minimum Tk 200 or more in this same month. Again till this offer is valid in the month of March, those who make five transactions of Rs. 200 will be given Rs. 30 for each transaction. If you avail each of these offers, you can get a cashback of Rs. 600 in your bank account till 31st March.
Flat 1% cashback on energy or utility bill payments using BHIM app
Flat 1% cashback will be offered on purchases of fuel like petrol, diesel and CNG gas through BHIM app. This offer is named Urja 1% Scheme.
1% cashback offer is also available on utility bill payments. As a result you will get 1% cashback if you pay electricity bill, water bill and gas cylinder bill etc. through BHIM app. But let me tell you earlier, the transaction amount must be at least 100 rupees.
Again, every offer discussed above will be valid till 31st March 2024.
