Seeing this, Benelli unveiled a new adventure tourer in the international market. Named Benelli TRK 552X. It comes as a replacement for the TRK 502X. Benelli has not confirmed anything about the launch of the bike in India. But it is estimated that it will enter the market of this country by the end of this year.
Benelli TRK 552X debuts in the international market
Talking about the design, the new Benelli TRK 552X looks more modern than the TRK 502X. It has a new design LED head lamp. Whereas the current model uses halogen lights like the old days. The larger the windshield, the better it resists wind gusts. Also, the front mudguard is taller than the front bike. So to say, Benelli TRK 552X has more road presence as compared to TRK 502X.
Benelli TRK 552X uses 552 cc parallel twin engine for high-performance. It will produce a maximum power of 60 bhp and 55 Nm of torque. There is a six-speed gearbox. 19 inch front and 17 inch rear wheels are given. 19-inch wheels at the front mean it's not a hardcore off-road model. Better to say it is a soft-roader bike.
Talking about the hardware, the Benelli TRK 552X has a body weight of 246 kg and two wheel disc brakes to handle the braking duties. Dual channel ABS is offered. Key features include 5-inch TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, etc.
