Baojun Yep: Three-door fun electric car coming to the country, will run 303 km on a single charge

In April this year, MG Motor India launched India’s cheapest electric car Compact EV. The compact premium electric vehicle is a two-door model. It is priced at Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). MG will start its delivery from the third week of May 2023. This time, the company is planning to bring another compact electric car in this country, the report claims. According to sources, the rebadged model of MG’s Baojun Yep electric sub-compact SUV (SUV) sold in the international market will be brought to India. Recently, the company has filed a design patent for the car in this country. Which has fueled speculation of its launch.

However, MG Motor India is yet to open up about the launch of their Baojun Yep in India. It is speculated that it may appear in the market of this country in 2025. The compact electric SUV is based on Baojun Yep’s design firm Global Small Electric Vehicle or GSEV platform. The Comet EV also uses the same platform. This SUV model is quite boxy and tall in terms of design.
