Bajaj-Triumph or Yezdi? Who do you trust when it comes to long distances on a Scrambler bike?

Triumph (Triumph) has recently unveiled a pair of their motorcycles in the global market. Which are jointly developed with Bajaj. These are – Speed ​​450 and Scrambler 400X. Both bikes will be launched in the Indian market on July 5. But today’s featured model is the Scrambler 400X. One of its rivals is the Yezdi Scrambler available in the Indian market. Triumph Scrambler 400X vs Yezdi Scrambler : Powertrain

Powering the Triumph Scrambler 400X is a 398.15 cc, fuel injected, liquid cooled, TR-series engine. It produces 39.5 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Mated to the motor is a 6-speed gearbox and a slip and assist clutch.

On the other hand, the Yezdi Scrambler has the same engine as the Roadster and Adventure. Its 334 cc, single cylinder liquid cooled mill produces a maximum power of 28.72 bhp and 28.21 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed gearbox.

Triumph Scrambler 400X vs Yezdi Scrambler : Hardware

The Scrambler 400X features a 43mm off-site down big piston front fork, gas charge rear monoshock with preload adjustable. Braking duties are handled by 320 mm and 230 mm disc brakes at the front and rear respectively. The bike offers switchable dual channel ABS.

Yezdi offers 41 mm telescopic front forks and preload adjustable twin shock rear absorbers on their Scrambler. There are 320 mm and 240 mm disc brakes at the front and rear respectively to handle braking duties. It also has switchable ABS.
