Bajaj Auto has given a new color update to its Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160. Both motorcycles can now be optioned in a new Powter Gray paint scheme. While this color option was available earlier, this time it comes with new graphics and patterns. Due to this new update, there is no change in the price of both the bikes. As before, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160 will be priced at Rs 1.49 lakh and Rs 1.37 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160 get new color update
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160 feature a pewter gray color scheme with blue and black highlights. As a result, new surprises have emerged in styling. Other color schemes available on both the bikes include Ebony Black, Pearl Metallic White and Cocktail Wine Red.
Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160: Engine
Bajaj updated their NS range earlier this year with dual channel ABS and state-of-the-art suspension. Powering the Pulsar NS200 is a 199.5 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine. Which will produce 24.1 bhp of power and 18.74 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
On the other hand, the Pulsar NS160 has a 160.3 cc single cylinder, air cooled motor. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the engine produces a maximum power of 17.03 bhp and a torque of 14.6 Nm. Both the bikes get 17-inch alloy wheels, USD front fork and monoshock rear suspension. Disc brakes are provided on both the wheels to handle the braking duties.
Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160: Rivals
The Pulsar NS160 rivals the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V and the Apache RTR 160 4V in the country. On the other hand, there are Apache RTR 200 4V, Yamaha FZ25 and Honda Hornet 2.0 in the market as competitors of Pulsar NS200.
