Modern style with speed is one of the highlights of the Bajaj Pulsar range of bikes. It has also won the hearts of buyers in terms of features. Not to let the enthusiasm of the buyers wane, Bajaj Auto often comes up with new updates to the Pulsar range. But this time it is not an update, the company is going to bring a brand new Pulsar with the biggest engine. This is the much-hyped Bajaj Pulsar 400. An all-India news agency report claims that Bajaj is going to launch it on May 3.
Bajaj Pulsar 400 will be launched on May 3
Note that since its first launch in 2001, the Pulsar has changed the definition of the two-wheeler market. Renaissance even brought about human choice. The leaked images of the Pulsar 400 are yet to reveal any details. Presumably, the upcoming Pulsar 400 may feature the perimeter frame of the Pulsar NS200.
The bike will come with two wheel disc brakes and dual channel anti lock braking system. Attached to the Perimeter frame will be USD front forks and rear monoshock suspension. Again speculations are rife that the Dominar 400 engine will be used in it. This is the 373 cc engine of the older generation KTM 390 Duke.
The Dominar makes a maximum power of 39 bhp at 400 to 8,800 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. Apart from the new Pulsar, Bajaj is also working on a CNG powered motorcycle. It is said to be based on the Bajaj Platina platform. The eco-friendly bike will be launched in June this year.
