Bajaj Pulsar NS200 was recently launched in India equipped with a bunch of new features. The new version has been priced at Tk 1,57,427 (ex-showroom). Bajaj Auto has also updated two more models in its NS range – Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS125. In the last few months, the 200cc Pulsar has been given a tough fight by TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Hero Xtreme 200S 4V. Powering the go ahead is a 199.5 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine present in the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, the E20 (80% petrol and 20% ethanol) engine produces 24.13 bhp of power at 9,750 rpm and 18.74 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm.
On the other hand, the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V gets 18.8 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm from the 199.6 cc single cylinder powertrain. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. That means Pulsar NS200 is ahead in both power and torque.

Now let’s compare the price. The newly launched updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is priced at Rs 1.57 lakh (ex-showroom). Where Hero Xtreme 200S 4V costs Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom). So if the budget is low then hero bike can be taken. But if you want high-performance, Pulsar is the best.
