Bajaj Chetak and TVS IQ Scooters have responded to India's Electric Two-Wheeler market. Since the launch in January 2021, the total sales of the two electric scooters have recently exceeded 1 lakh (1 million) units. Indian electric vehicle is a milestone in the market.
Bajaj Chetak and TVS IKB Scooter dropped 1 lakh sales
According to the Siam's (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) report, the total sales of Bajaj Chetak and TVS IKB till March 2021 were about 1.5 lakh units. Scooters crossed the milestone of the sale of 1 lakh units in the first week of April 2021, as the sale continued.
Bajaj and TVS have strengthened their position in India's electric scooter market in the market, but also in the Bajaj and TVs, but according to Bikri statistics, the TVS IQ is sold about 1.5 lakh units, which is 5 percent of the total sales.
On the other hand, the sale of Bajaj Chetak is 1.25 lakh units, which is 5 percent of the total electric scooter sales. Although Bajaj is a bit behind compared to TVS, the gap has been greatly reduced in the last two financial years. In the fiscal year 2021, TVS has sold about 1.5 lakh electric scooters, and Bajaj has sold 1.5 lakh units.
