Bajaj Auto has launched a new edition of its Chetak electric scooter. Its name is Chetak 3201 Special Edition. This new model builds on the top-spec premium variant of the Chetak. It will be available to buy online from today, August 5. Will be sold on Amazon. The price has been kept at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Remember, this is the introductory price. After the end of the special launch offer, the price of the Chetak 3201 Special Edition will increase to Rs 1.40 lakh.
Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition: Design, Features, Specifications, Price
The Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition has some visual upgrades compared to the standard premium variant. There is a 'Chetak' decal on the side panel. Only one color option is available and that is Brooklyn Black. The scooter has scuff plates and two-tone double layer seats. Besides, the design is similar to the premium model.
Talking about the specifications, the Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition uses the 3.2 kWh battery of the premium variant. It gives a range of 127 km on the regular Chetak Premium. But the surprising thing is that Bajaj is claiming a mileage of 136 km in the special edition. The electric scooter has a speed of 73 kilometers per hour.
In terms of features, the special edition Bajaj Chet will get color TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, customizable themes and call alerts. There's also hill-hold control and an additional ride mode called Sport as part of the Techpack software package. This electric scooter will compete with Ether Rizta, Ola S1 Pro, and TVS iCube S in the market.
