ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini has been spotted on India’s BIS certification. The Taiwanese tech company all set to launch the successor of the Zenfone 7 series on May 12. Recently, Asus ZenFone 8 Pro also surfaced on the BIS listing.
ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini clears India’s BIS certification
The Taiwanese tech company already confirmed the launch date of the Asus Zenfone 8 series on May 12 and now one of the devices from the Asus upcoming flagship series spotted on India’s BIS certification. As per the listing, ASUS_I006D could be the model number of the Asus Zenfone 8 mini while the ASUS_I007D is expected to be the model number of the ASUS ZenFone 8 Pro which was spotted on the same certification site yesterday.
Unfortunately, The listing did not reveal any specifications about the device. Keep in mind, BIS listing does not confirm the product’s launch in India but there are some possibilities. If the certification indication turns out to be correct then it will be a comeback for the Asus Zenfone series in India. The Zenfone 6z was the last Zenfone launched by the company back in 2020 in India.
Some previous reports suggested that Asus Zenfone 8 mini will feature a 5.92-inches OLED FHD+ resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole. Under the hood, It will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and may couple with 16GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Coming to the camera, It will be equipped with a dual-camera setup that may house a 64 Megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor and a secondary Sony IMX663 sensor. The handset will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.
