ASUS ZenFone 8 Indian variant with ASUS 8Z moniker has been spotted on Google Play’s Supported devices list certification. The Taiwanese tech company recently launched the Zenfone 8 & Zenfone 8 flip in the global markets.

Asus all set to launch its Zenfone 8 series in India but with a different name. Recently, A reliable tipster named @Sudhanshu1414 shared the Google Play’s Supported devices list certification of the ASUS ZenFone 8 Indian variant. As per the listing, The Zenfone 8 series might be launch as the Asus 8Z or Asus 8Z flip in the country. It seems that the company still hasn’t solved the ZenFone branding issue in India. Sadly, there is no other information shared by the listing yet.


Asus Zenfone 8 / Zenfone 8 Flip


As earlier mentioned, Asus Zenfone 8 series recently made its global debut. The Zenfone 8 features a 5.9 inches AMOLED FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution panel with a 120Hz refresh rate while the Zenfone 8 flip packs a 6.67 inches AMOLED FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution screen with 6.67 inches Samsung AMOLED FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, Both the handsets are powered by the snapdragon 888 chipsets. The Zenfone 8 comes in three RAM & storage configuration – 6GB + 128GB / 8GB +128GB / 16GB + 256GB. On the other hand, The Zenfone 8 flip features in two RAM & storage configurations – 6GB + 128GB / 8GB + 128GB.


In terms of camera, The Zenfone 8 includes a 64-Megapixel dual camera setup at back and a 12-Megapixel front-facing shooter. The Zenfone 8 flip has a 64-Megapixel triple rear/front camera setup. The Zenfone 8 flip packs a 5000mah battery while th Zenfone 8 is fueled by a 4000mah battery. Lastly, The smartphone includes the support of 30W fast charging technology.
