Asus ROG 5 India launch event has been scheduled to be held on 10 March. It is the successor of the Asus ROG 3 which was launched back in July last year. Recently, the DxOMark audio score and the overall design of the Asus ROG 5 are also leaked online ahead of launch.

Asus is ready to launch its next-generation gaming smartphone in India. Today, The Taiwanese tech company added a microsite on Flipkart which confirmed that Asus Rog Phone 5 launching in the country on 10th March at 4:15 PM (IST). Recently, The smartphone also spotted on the DxOMark audio test which revealed its overall design and audio performance.
The smartphone is going to be official on 10 March in China as well. Ahead of its official launch, Asus ROG 5 was already surfaced on various certification sites which unveiled some of its key specifications. As per the previous report, Asus ROG 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, Adreno 660 GPU and may couple with 12GB of RAM. The handset will feature a 6.78 inches Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz fast refresh rate.
Coming to the camera, It will have a triple rear camera setup that may house a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel macro sensor as well. On the front, It will come with a 24-megapixel selfie shooter. The gaming device will pack a 6000mah dual-cell battery and may include the support of 65W fast charging. Other feature will include five microphones, a headphone jack two symmetrical front-firing speakers and a matrix display on the rear side.
